List of Needs for
Keeler Women's Center
As we strive to serve women in the urban core, there are many on-going needs:
The following are on-going needs:
- Plants
- Hospitality needs, including:creamer, sugar, cookies, candy, etc.
- Pretty napkins
- Nice "give-aways" – small things to give to women who attend our programs – especially needed for women from the shelters are toothbrushes, lotion, shampoo, etc.
- Kleenex and paper towels
- Babysitters for events
- Monetary donations for events and resources--make all donations payable to Mount St. Scholastica for the Keeler Women’s Center or for their Ministry Fund
- Volunteers - see the volunteer page
- Referrals of professionals who might offer services for women – especially legal aid, doctors, dentists, counselors, mentors, marketing, grant writers, tutors, etc.
- Leads on individuals and organizations that might like to partner with us or support our efforts through donations
- Volunteers to do advocacy for the poor by staying abreast of issues and contacting congressman and senators to ask for support of legislation that will promote justice and peace.
